SpamOnion Feature Update
1666 Reads

SpamOnion

We have added some new features to SpamOnion recently. The SpamOnion Quarantine web interface has been upgraded and improved. It is now easier to retrain several messages at once using checkboxes in the History window. The upgrade also improves the performance of the DSPAM (quarantine) layer so accuracy has been improved.

We also have a new feature. A user can now get a daily email report of their quarantine box. The report will alert the user to how many messages are in their quarantine and also give a summary of these spam messages. Currently, to activate this feature, use our Contact Form to make the request. We will add this feature to the SpamOnion web interface at a future date.

SpamOnion is a server based spam filtering service. All email for the customer's domain passes through the SpamOnion servers where it is subjected to several layers of spam filtering. If all layers are passed, the message is sent to the customer's mail server. If not, the message is either rejected or placed into a quarantine area for later inspection by the user.

If you have any questions on SpamOnion, do not hesitate to ask! We are here to answer your questions and just as importantly, stop spam.
